At Rucker Investments, we invest in companies throughout the U.S. during critical inflection points of their business lifecycle so they can scale and thrive.

The Rucker Effect, as I call it, has many people, property owners and leaders in the community thinking about what we can accomplish individually and collectively... [it] has raised the bar on our expectations to improve the city economically, educationally, aesthetically and by strengthening the fabric of our community in a way that brings people together.

Rucker, who owns three companies on the North Shore - working in equipment leasing, and asset and property management - had no connection to Worcester before founding the Railers. But he had a love of hockey, especially family-friendly and affordable hockey, and he had a good sense for potential in properties when he sees them.

Rucker came onto the Worcester scene back in February 2016, a relative unknown in the city. Billed as a “North Shore businessman” in quote blocks and headlines throughout the ensuing months, [Rucker] would have plenty more in store for the city as the months ticked by.
